Job Overview
Seeking a Senior SCCM Administrator based in Hyderabad to lead the comprehensive strategy for software deployment and security patch management within an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and uphold an overarching strategy for deploying software packages and security patches effectively.
- Create advanced automation scripts using PowerShell or Python to streamline deployment, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Oversee phased deployment pipelines including Pilot, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production stages to minimize disruption to daily operations.
- Continuously monitor compliance through dashboards, ensure adherence to SLAs, and troubleshoot any deployment failures or issues related to system reboots.
- Collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to expedite the application of security patches and guard against network vulnerabilities.
- Prepare and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks for consistent software delivery processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- Between 5 to 10 years of professional experience in enterprise systems engineering, infrastructure management, or vulnerability assessment.
- Expertise in endpoint management tools, especially Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) and Microsoft Intune.
- Good understanding of software patching processes specific to Windows operating systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell to automate deployment workflows.
