Senior Software Developer (Cloud & AI)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to design, build, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications infused with artificial intelligence technologies. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop modern AI-based solutions and maintain high-quality software in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement resilient, high-performance applications optimized for cloud platforms.
• Embed AI functionalities by utilizing machine learning models, APIs, and cloud AI services.
• Produce clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Engage in code reviews, participate in technical and architecture discussions.
• Drive continuous enhancements to development tools, standards, and processes.
• Develop automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Document system designs and architectural decisions thoroughly.
• Leverage cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to build, deploy, and maintain microservices, containerized, and serverless applications.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to create and manage CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment workflows.
• Monitor and tune application performance for scalability and availability in cloud environments.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years professional experience in software development, with practical knowledge in cloud-based systems preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in at least one modern programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or Golang.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficient in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Competent in version control systems, mainly Git.
• Working experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native design principles.
• Understanding of container technologies such as Docker and microservices architecture.

Preferred Competencies

• Experience operating in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Exposure to AI-powered development aids including GitHub Copilot or similar tools.
• Familiar with DevOps cultural practices, monitoring utilities, and automation in cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience designing serverless and event-driven systems.
