Job description
Role Overview
At Redpin, our aim is to connect global individuals and businesses by streamlining essential payments. Our comprehensive payments network and customer-focused service support a large international community spanning over 15,000 partners, 235 territories, through our brands, Currencies Direct and TorFX. We are revolutionizing the property market by bridging connections among buyers, sellers, legal representatives, title companies, property management firms, banks, and real estate agents.
In the UAE, our goal is to establish ourselves as the reliable payments infrastructure for international property transactions, starting with partnerships with developers. We operate under DFSA regulation from our office in DIFC. This position is crucial to the commercial growth of our MENA expansion—the license is secured, initial partnerships are secured, and the market is primed for development.
Opportunity Summary
This senior sales role is an individual contributor position based in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning revenue and sales pipeline by identifying, pursuing, and closing deals with property developers to establish Redpin as the preferred cross-border payments infrastructure.
With DFSA regulation, DIFC presence, and initial developer partnerships as a foundation, we're seeking a top-tier sales professional who understands the developer ecosystem, can engage at the C-suite level, and translate technical capabilities into business advantages. This role focuses purely on sales output without team management responsibilities. Success here will influence future hiring and leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and manage Redpin's commercial sales targets in the UAE market.
- Develop and maintain a well-structured pipeline of partnerships with real estate developers, including off-plan, master, and mid-tier developers.
- Lead end-to-end deal processes from sourcing to closing, including qualification and negotiation stages.
- Create direct originations with developer sales, project finance, and international investment teams.
- Identify top developer targets by volume, cross-border buyer profile, and payment complexity.
- Build and sustain relationships at CFO, COO, and Head of Sales levels within developer firms.
- Position Redpin as an embedded infrastructure solution, emphasizing benefits like easing reconciliation and boosting buyer conversion.
- Oversee commercial relationships post-contract to drive activation and growth.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to enhance targeting and messaging.
- Provide systematic and data-driven reports on pipeline, deals, and market intelligence to senior management.
- Supply customer insights for product and proposition enhancement based on frontline feedback.
- Represent Redpin publicly at industry gatherings, panels, and conferences, establishing credibility on cross-border payments and capital flows.
- Strengthen Redpin’s reputation within the UAE developer community through insightful and consistent engagement.
Candidate Profile
- Proven success in closing complex, high-value B2B deals, preferably in payments, proptech, financial services, or related sectors.
- Experience interfacing with C-suite executives within UAE real estate or financial services environments.
- Intimate knowledge of the UAE developer market: major players, business operations, and payment complexities.
- Comfortable navigating regulated environments with a clear understanding of compliance without needing constant legal assistance.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly valued.
Preferred Attributes
- Background in fintech, electronic money institutions, or regulated payments companies.
- Existing network among Tier 1 and mid-market UAE real estate developers.
- Understanding of cross-border payments, foreign exchange mechanisms, and reconciliation issues in property transactions.
- Experience presenting publicly or participating in panel discussions related to proptech or investment forums.
Performance Expectations
Within the first 90 days, the candidate should have developed a pipeline of qualified developer leads, initiated discussions with decision-makers from at least three Tier 1 or significant mid-tier developers, and identified key milestones to reach year-one revenue goals. By the end of the first year, the pipeline should convert to signed contracts supporting substantial cross-border payment volumes, with established origination processes and Renowned creditability as a payment partner in the UAE property development sector.
Diversity and Inclusion
Redpin and its associated brands are committed to equal employment opportunities. Candidates of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply, and recruitment decisions are made without regard to gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, age, disability, or any other legally protected status.
