Role Summary

The company is establishing a new Hyderabad office and is searching for multiple engineering professionals focusing on backend services utilizing Java technologies. The Senior Backend Engineer role is integral to building scalable, user-friendly solutions for managing real estate transactions and global payments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services leveraging Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Develop and maintain well-structured APIs for web and mobile platforms.
• Implement best practices to optimize performance, scalability, and security of applications.
• Work collaboratively across teams to integrate cloud services within backend architectures.
• Produce clean, maintainable code aligned with industry standards.
• Guide junior and intermediate developers through mentorship and code reviews to foster continuous development and quality improvement.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience as a backend engineer.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities combined with a passion for building customer-focused solutions.
• Solid expertise in backend development, including modern frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring ecosystem components such as controllers, services, repositories, and security modules.
• Proficient in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

Additional Desirable Skills

• Advanced understanding of core Java APIs including collections, streams, and concurrency frameworks.
• Experience in B2B fintech environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like Angular or React is a plus.
