Senior Recruitment Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Recruitment Consultant to join an established recruitment company based in Central London, specifically focusing on the U.S. market. This role offers a base salary of £40,000 per annum plus up to 40% commission with attractive financial rewards. This position is ideal for a recruitment professional experienced in the U.S. sector who is ambitious, energetic, and driven by sales success, with the ultimate goal to develop and lead a recruitment team.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in business development via phone and email to build relationships with hiring managers, understand their recruitment requirements, and deliver tailored hiring solutions.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates for client vacancies across professional sectors located in the U.S.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM data, develop job descriptions, create adverts, and customize candidate resumes as needed.
• Conduct research and market analysis to identify new prospects and trends within the U.S. recruitment market.
• Work U.S. business hours to align with client needs, specifically Monday to Thursday from 12 pm to 8 pm, and Friday on a rota from 10 am to 6 pm.

Candidate Profile

• Sales-driven recruitment professional ideally with experience in engineering or technical markets, motivated to excel in U.S. recruitment and aspire to building a team.
• Excellent communicator with a confident telephone presence, comfortable operating at all professional levels.
• Resilient and competitive, able to sustain performance in a demanding U.S. market hiring cycle, managing setbacks effectively.
• Willing and able to work late afternoon to evening shifts to accommodate U.S. time zones, understanding this is essential for the role.
