Senior Radiographer / Radiographer

Role Overview

This position involves independently conducting general and select specialised radiographic examinations including ultrasound and other diagnostic imaging techniques. You will ensure high-quality imaging with a focus on patient care, clinical responsibility, radiation safety, and effective technology utilization. The role encompasses supervising student radiographers, leading Quality Improvement initiatives, and collaborating with clinicians and staff on radiography-related matters.

Additional responsibilities include managing quality control programs and overseeing the upkeep of imaging devices and accessories. Depending on your interests and available positions, you may specialise in advanced imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, or Mammography across inpatient and outpatient environments, or support interventional procedures like Coronary Angiography and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA).

Requirements

• Possession of a recognised Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
• Registration with or eligibility for Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
• Preferably 2-3 years of experience in Interventional Radiography (IR) or RISPACS management, advantageous for cardiac-focused radiography roles
• Strong team collaboration abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Supervisory experience beneficial for senior role consideration
