Registered Technologist

Position Overview

As an integral contributor within the multidisciplinary team, the Registered Technologist ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient and family-centered care. The role involves collaborating with team members to perform diagnostic imaging for both in-patient and out-patient settings with precision, efficiency, and professionalism. Maintaining a safe and healthy environment is essential by adhering to all health and safety policies protecting patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and visitors. Rotations through the X-ray master station are a part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Possession of a diploma or degree in Radiography from an accredited institution.
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiography Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).

Preferred Additional Qualifications

• Membership with CAMRT/OAMRT is considered an advantage.
• Experience in Quality Control is a beneficial asset.
• Previous work experience within the Registered Technologist classification is preferred.

Additional Information

• Primary assignment will be in the X-ray department; however, flexibility to work across all areas of the Medical Imaging department and various offsite locations within Mackenzie Health is required.
• This position is represented by OPSEU.
• Candidates may be required to work at any Mackenzie Health site.
