Key Responsibilities

• Ensure underwriting practices align with financial plans, internal policies, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders to expand Zurich's property insurance capabilities and market presence.
• Promote continuous improvement through coaching, development initiatives, and streamlining underwriting processes.
• Utilize underwriting tools, artificial intelligence, and IT systems to enhance service delivery and support organizational transformation.
• Manage expenses diligently, focusing on cost-effectiveness and implementing quality assurance protocols.
• Keep abreast of legislative changes and industry trends to inform strategic underwriting decisions.

Candidate Profile

• Possess at least five years of experience in underwriting or senior-level underwriting roles.
• Demonstrate a successful track record in outcome-focused underwriting and effective stakeholder engagement.
• Understand customer loyalty and retention strategies within the insurance domain.
• Be proficient with Office 365, AI technologies, and underwriting software tools.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and ability to build trust across organizational levels.
• Show strong analytical thinking and commercial insight for solving complex problems and leading process improvements.
