Role Overview

As Tencent Cloud expands its global infrastructure and services, this position seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to spearhead and coordinate strategic cloud-related projects across both local and regional markets. The incumbent will oversee execution of internal and external projects, including partnerships, ensuring timely completion, stakeholder alignment, and quality service delivery. This role requires a strong technical foundation, ownership of project delivery, and exceptional communication skills across cultures. Candidates should be highly organized, results-oriented, and adept at managing complex stakeholder networks in international settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment and management of Tencent Cloud projects in local and regional contexts.
• Coordinate efforts among internal teams and external service partners to align project scope, timing, and quality metrics.
• Act as the primary liaison for business, technical, and external stakeholders, facilitating requirement alignment and delivery milestone clarification.
• Manage client documentation including proposals, progress reports, and project acceptance documentation.
• Identify risks and operational challenges proactively; collaborate with pre-sales, product, and operations teams to develop mitigation plans and improve delivery standards.
• Drive continuous enhancements in delivery workflows and collaboration processes to boost efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction in cloud service projects.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing large-scale public cloud projects, particularly in international markets involving infrastructure, telecom, or SaaS.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese Mandarin (approximately 50% of communication involves coordination with China headquarters).
• Demonstrated expertise managing full project lifecycle from inception to delivery and acceptance for significant key accounts.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving abilities, and experience handling multiple priorities under pressure with a customer-first mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies and related implementation challenges.
• Preferred possession of certifications such as PMP, IPMP, or equivalents in project management.
