Role Overview

We are looking for a Developer Ecosystem Business Development Manager based in Singapore. This position focuses on accelerating the expansion of the WorkBuddy global AI ecosystem by identifying, engaging, and enabling developers, SaaS providers, AI startups, data suppliers, and technology partners. The role involves collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Ecosystem teams to grow WorkBuddy's Skills, APIs, MCP integrations, and launch future application marketplaces, thereby creating innovative AI-driven solutions for enterprise users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Discover, approach, and onboard top-tier developers, SaaS firms, AI startups, data service vendors, professional service providers, and technology collaborators to broaden the WorkBuddy ecosystem internationally.
• Forge strategic alliances allowing partners to integrate their offerings via WorkBuddy’s APIs, Skills, MCP, and emerging applications, enhancing the platform’s features and value to users.
• Develop and implement ecosystem expansion strategies targeting priority industries such as financial services, legal, education, healthcare, enterprise software, and productivity tools while engaging relevant developer communities and partners.
• Manage the entire partner onboarding lifecycle, including partnership negotiation, technical alignment, solution integration, training, launch coordination, and ongoing support to ensure partner success.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to convert partner feedback into platform improvements, streamline developer onboarding, and enhance ecosystem infrastructure.
• Design scalable partner programs and collaboration models to achieve sustainable ecosystem growth and establish replicable reference partnerships globally.

Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree or higher with at least five years of experience in areas such as ecosystem development, strategic partnerships, business development, platform alliances, developer relations, or SaaS partnerships.
• Solid grasp of developer ecosystems, API design, SaaS integrations, AI-powered applications, platform business frameworks, or enterprise software environments, preferably with experience collaborating with developers or tech partners.
• Proven track record in crafting partnerships with software vendors, developer communities, independent software vendors (ISVs), AI startups, data providers, or enterprise technology companies is highly valued.
• Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional teamwork capabilities, with the aptitude to independently initiate and expand strategic partnerships.
• Familiarity with Singapore and international markets preferred, with an existing network within developer communities, SaaS firms, AI startups, or enterprise tech ecosystems as a distinct advantage.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required to effectively collaborate with global partners and Tencent's China headquarters.
