Tencent Cloud is inviting an accomplished Senior Solution Architect based in Singapore to drive its cloud business expansion. This role demands critical responsibilities in crafting technically sound, scalable, and secure cloud architectures tailored for enterprise clients across major industries. The position involves close collaboration with sales, engineering, and product teams to convert complex business demands into actionable technical plans, supporting the entire customer journey from pre-sales to implementation. Additionally, the architect will serve as a trusted advisor and brand representative, building technical credibility locally through industry engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan customized cloud solutions that meet customer business goals, ensuring scalability, security, and performance while overseeing successful deployment.
• Understand client technical requirements, industry standards, and operational constraints to translate them into comprehensive solution designs and actionable execution strategies.
• Function as the technical bridge between clients and Tencent's backend engineering teams, effectively communicating needs, tracking progress, addressing risks, and ensuring projects complete on schedule.
• Participate actively in pre-sales efforts by delivering technical presentations, conducting solution demos, leading architecture workshops, and facilitating proof-of-concept activities to enhance deal closure rates.
• Represent Tencent Cloud at trade forums, technical seminars, and ecosystem events to elevate brand authority and extend technical influence in Singapore.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in public cloud pre-sales or solution architecture roles, preferably within Internet or Financial Services sectors.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies, especially virtualization platforms such as KVM, Xen, or LxC.
• Deep understanding of system architecture fundamentals, with the capability to analyze industry ecosystems and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive, accountable, and execution-oriented with excellent collaboration abilities to work seamlessly across cross-functional teams.
