Role Overview
We are in search of a strategic and dynamic Programmatic Strategist to operate in a remote capacity within Canada. This pivotal client-facing position entails daily management of programmatic advertising campaigns across multiple channels like Display, Native, Video, and Audio. Responsibilities include campaign creation, optimization, reporting, and the development of bespoke strategies for clients while maintaining communication with internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage programmatic campaign execution, including builds, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design comprehensive media strategies aligned with client goals.
- Utilize both first-party and third-party data to refine audience targeting and segmentation.
- Plan and deploy programmatic campaigns on Demand-Side Platforms such as DV360 and The Trade Desk.
- Monitor campaign pacing and performance continually, making necessary adjustments.
- Generate detailed performance reports and extract actionable insights.
- Resolve campaign delivery and performance challenges quickly.
- Coordinate with creative, analytics, and account teams to ensure unified campaign implementation.
- Maintain excellent client relationships by providing consistent updates and strategic advice.
- Present campaign plans, performance outcomes, and recommendations effectively to clients.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years experience in programmatic advertising within publishers, agencies, or ad tech firms; B2B experience is an advantage.
- Demonstrated proficiency in media buying and campaign optimization using DSPs, notably The Trade Desk and DV360.
- Extensive experience in programmatic media planning, buying, and building performance measurement frameworks.
- Deep understanding of how programmatic and other marketing channels together exceed client KPIs.
- Track record of driving programmatic growth for B2B/SaaS clients managing budgets exceeding $50,000 per month.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
- Excellent analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Performance Goals
- Achieve 100% of Net Sales Margin (NSM) targets.
- Maintain Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) scores at or above 4.4.
