Senior Product/UI Designer

Role Overview

We seek a Senior Product/UI Designer to lead the visual design strategy across our suite of digital products. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate extensively with UX Researchers, Product Managers, and Front-End Engineers to convert user insights, research findings, and product specifications into seamless, brand-aligned, and accessible digital interfaces.

Primary Responsibilities

• Craft high-fidelity user interfaces for web and mobile platforms, progressing designs from wireframes to detailed screens ready for developer handoff using Figma.
• Create interactive micro-prototypes showcasing interactions, animations, and component behaviors ahead of development.
• Own and progressively refine the design system, including components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and governance frameworks.
• Interpret UX research, user journeys, and workflows into consistent and intuitive visual experiences.
• Collaborate closely with product and research teams to align designs with user needs and business goals.
• Work hand-in-hand with front-end engineers to uphold design fidelity through to final implementation.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
• Justify design choices to a range of stakeholders, leveraging user data and insights.
• Iterate designs incorporating feedback from usability tests, stakeholder comments, and product team reviews.
• Maintain strong focus on typography, layout, color schemes, visual hierarchy, interaction design, and accessibility compliance.
• Keep abreast of current UI/UX trends and standards for Web, iOS, and Android platforms.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 6 years in product or UI design roles, preferably within SaaS, technology, or product-focused businesses.
• Proven track record creating digital products with end-to-end UI design and strong rationale behind design decisions impacting users and business outcomes.
• Experience constructing and scaling comprehensive design systems.
• Work history in Agile, cross-functional teams.

Technical Expertise

• Advanced proficiency with Figma including component structure, Auto Layout, variants, tokens, and scalable file organization.
• Skilled in developing interactive prototypes and micro-interactions using Figma or ProtoPie.
• Hands-on experience managing design systems—component libraries, tokens, documentation, governance.
• Strong grasp of visual design principles: typography, layout, color, spacing, and hierarchy.
• In-depth understanding of interaction design, responsive layouts, and micro-interactions.
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards.
• Basic awareness of front-end development constraints and HTML/CSS is beneficial.
• Ability to present and defend design choices with data and user research insights.

Preferred Extras

• Experience designing bilingual Arabic (RTL) and English (LTR) interfaces.
• Knowledge of Saudi Digital Government Authority standards, regulations, or digital maturity metrics.
• Familiarity with motion design or prototyping tools like ProtoPie or After Effects.
• Basic understanding of front-end frameworks such as React.
• Background designing for both web and mobile ecosystems.
