Role Overview
As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the development and evolution of Plenti's Origination Platform, a critical backbone powering customer and partner interactions across multiple business lines. This high-impact position focuses on setting the platform’s vision, strategy, and roadmap to build scalable, reusable infrastructure supporting consumer, commercial, renewable, direct, and partnership lending channels.
Core Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategy for a cross-channel origination platform, balancing immediate business demands with long-term growth objectives.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to make architectural and product decisions that optimize onboarding, scalability, resilience, and technical debt management.
- Transform operational complexities into streamlined, automated solutions aimed at enhancing customer, partner, and internal team experiences.
- Align multiple teams across product, technology, and business units to unify efforts around shared platform capabilities benefiting diverse lending channels.
- Establish and monitor key platform metrics like reliability, automation levels, adoption rates, operational efficiency, and delivery speed to drive ongoing improvements.
- Integrate compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements into the platform as fundamental design principles, ensuring innovation is balanced with robust controls.
- Promote a platform-focused mindset emphasizing reusable services, standardized features, and consistent patterns to reduce duplication and accelerate innovation across Plenti.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant is an experienced product manager with over five years overseeing digital platforms or shared infrastructure, especially within regulated financial services or fintech sectors. You demonstrate strong strategic and commercial acumen, possess expertise in navigating compliance and risk-related considerations, and excel at uniting diverse stakeholders around common goals. Experience with multi-channel platforms managing competing priorities is crucial, as is familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as Open Banking, CDR, or identity verification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum five years in product management with proven success managing platform or shared infrastructure products.
- Experience delivering multi-channel platform products that meet distinct customer segments and distribution needs.
- Background in regulated financial environments, understanding how compliance and risk shape product strategies.
- Track record in balancing customer-facing product development with internal tooling and clear prioritization methods.
- Preferably experienced in Open Banking, Consumer Data Right (CDR), or identity verification technologies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of aligning different business units and channel owners toward cohesive platform strategies despite competing priorities.
