Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data, Analytics & AI Product Manager to oversee the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise-wide data products. Our primary platforms include Snowflake for cloud-based data infrastructure and Tableau for analytics and visualization. Additionally, this role leads the commercialization of AI and machine learning solutions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the product roadmap for Snowflake data platforms, Tableau analytics, and AI/ML offerings, including generative AI, predictive analytics, and embedded intelligence tools.
- Translate dynamic business requirements into actionable data and AI products such as dashboards, data marts, ML-driven forecasts, recommendation engines, and GenAI assistants by deeply engaging with stakeholder workflows and decision points.
- Direct AI product strategy by identifying impactful AI/ML applications, defining use cases, collaborating with data science and engineering teams on model selection, and overseeing the transition from prototype to production deployment.
- Prioritize and maintain a backlog for data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML teams, balancing new initiatives, technical debt, and ad hoc requests effectively.
- Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams on decisions regarding Snowflake infrastructure including warehouse scaling, cost control, data sharing, security roles, and advanced feature adoption like Snowpark and Cortex.
- Promote Tableau as the organization’s standard analytics tool by developing certified content, self-service governance structures, performance benchmarks, and adoption strategies.
- Establish and enforce data and AI product standards covering naming conventions, documentation quality, service-level agreements, certification processes, model monitoring, evaluation metrics, and ethical AI guidelines.
- Advocate for data quality, governance, and AI safety in partnership with governance functions by implementing data contracts, master data harmonization, bias audits, and human-in-the-loop processes.
- Work alongside PLM, ERP, and commercial system stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of data and AI products with operational platforms.
- Monitor product adoption and impact by tracking usage metrics in Tableau and Snowflake, AI model performance, and business KPIs related to each product.
- Effectively communicate product roadmap, progress, and value to company leadership and wider teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in product management with at least 3 years dedicated to data, analytics, or AI/ML products.
- Proven success in bringing at least one AI or ML product—such as predictive models, natural language processing solutions, recommendation engines, or generative AI applications—into production.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts including model lifecycle, evaluation methods, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures, and responsible AI principles.
- Experience with modern data stack technologies including cloud data warehouses, ELT tools (such as dbt or Fivetran), semantic layers, and orchestration systems.
- Skilled in crafting clear technical and business requirements using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Exceptional stakeholder management abilities spanning executive leadership, operational teams, and technical staff.
- Demonstrated capacity to make priority decisions effectively within a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Snowflake features such as Cortex, Snowpark, or native AI/ML capabilities.
- Experience using Tableau Pulse, Tableau AI, or embedding analytics in business applications.
- Hands-on experience integrating large language models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI) into practical business scenarios.
- Background in industries such as consumer products, retail, manufacturing, or supply chain management.
- Knowledge of master data management, data governance frameworks, and modern data product or mesh principles.
- Experience working with PLM, ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, and commercial platforms including Salesforce or e-commerce.
- Agile or Scrum certification or equivalent experience.
