Role Overview

The Senior Product Manager will develop and enhance platforms supporting professional learning for teachers throughout Singapore’s education system. This ranges from early AI-driven learning experiences to widely used platforms embedded in teacher workflows, including learning management systems, content management systems, and knowledge repositories.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-own the vision and roadmap for teacher professional learning platforms focusing on content discovery, knowledge management, collaborative learning, and classroom practice improvement.
• Collaborate with Ministry of Education HQ divisions, schools, and partner agencies to define success metrics centered on teacher growth, classroom impact, and efficiency.
• Align product strategies with the Academy of Singapore Teachers and professional learning outcomes.
• Translate emerging AI technologies into practical educator tools.
• Identify core issues such as time-to-feedback, resource discoverability, and practical application of learning into classrooms.
• For early-stage products, prototype AI-enabled solutions like semantic search, retrieval-augmented generation copilots, and video annotation, and validate outcomes affecting teacher learning and behavioral change.
• For mature platforms, enhance complete educator journeys from search through application and reflection, reduce workflow friction, and scale systems across educational institutions.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration involving policy makers, operations teams, engineers, designers, and senior leadership to ensure alignment on goals and outcomes.
• Clarify ambiguous problems to align teacher needs, policy aims, and technical limitations while promoting unified cross-agency initiatives.
• Drive definitions of quality for AI-powered professional learning by advocating evidence-based decisions and innovative paradigms such as just-in-time learning, knowledge graphs, and AI copilots for teaching.
• Elevate usability and relevance focusing on real classroom impacts.

Candidate Profile

• 5 to 8+ years of experience in product management or a comparable role.
• Proven track record of developing user-centric platforms prioritizing quality experience.
• Experience with AI, large language models, search systems, or knowledge platforms is highly desirable.
• Capable of operating effectively in uncertain and evolving environments.
• Skilled at managing multiple stakeholders within complex organizational structures.
• Not mandatory but advantageous to understand teacher workflows and value tangible classroom impact over mere platform usage.
