Job description
Role Overview
As a Senior Product Manager within the LSEG AI team, you will lead the strategy, design, and execution of integration frameworks and agentic orchestration features that enable LSEG's Market-Backed Computing Platform (MCP) tools to participate in complex, autonomous AI workflows. This pivotal position involves conceptualizing how LSEG's MCP capabilities are combined, sequenced, and managed by AI agents across various partner ecosystems, including Claude, Copilot Studio, OpenAI, and open-source frameworks, as well as internal applications. Your work will help automate important financial processes by enabling sophisticated multi-step reasoning pipelines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop the integration roadmap for LSEG MCP products across key AI platforms like Anthropic (Claude), Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Google AI, and open-source agent frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, and AutoGen.
- Create and maintain integration patterns, reference architectures, and best practices for connecting MCP tools to third-party agent orchestrators and workflow engines.
- Identify and prioritize strategic partnerships to broaden the reach and improve the functionalities of the MCP ecosystem.
- Design product frameworks for multi-step agentic workflows including chaining tools, branching logic, parallel executions, human interactions, and error handling.
- Build workflow templates and reference models targeting critical financial scenarios such as market briefs, equity research, portfolio analysis, credit monitoring, and macroeconomic simulations.
- Ensure orchestration reliability by managing agents’ ability to recover from tool failures, timeouts, unclear responses, and other exceptions.
- Craft onboarding processes, sample workflows, and integration documentation that facilitate external developers and partners in creating agentic applications leveraging MCP tools.
- Maintain demonstration environments, sandbox setups, and example prompts showcasing MCP capabilities within agentic frameworks.
- Support the growth and engagement of a developer community focused on MCP integrations by collecting feedback and resolving adoption challenges.
- Establish safety protocols, approval checks, and guardrails to ensure autonomous AI agents responsibly interact with financial data without causing unintended actions or misinterpretations.
- Collaborate with AI governance and risk management teams to set standards for auditability, traceability, and human oversight in agentic workflows.
- Design monitoring solutions to track the operational health of agentic workflows, measuring completion rates, failures, usage patterns, and cost-efficiency.
- Coordinate with financial tool and platform managers to guarantee tools support composability, context-sharing, and reliable multi-tool transactions.
- Work with commercial and business development teams to align MCP agentic capabilities with strategic partnerships and key enterprise clients.
- Engage across LSEG’s product divisions to identify high-impact agentic use cases and drive their implementation.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience in product management related to integrations, APIs, developer platforms, or workflow/orchestration products.
- Comprehensive understanding of agentic AI concepts, including tool chaining, autonomous multi-step reasoning, decision-making, and human intervention workflows.
- Familiarity with AI and large language model (LLM) ecosystems and agent frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Copilot Studio.
- Experience designing developer-focused products such as SDKs, documentation, reference implementations, and sandbox environments.
- Capability to collaborate cross-ecosystem with external partners, developer communities, and platform providers.
Desirable Attributes
- Knowledge of MCP, function-calling, or tool-use mechanisms within deployed LLM applications.
- Background in financial technology, capital markets workflows, or enterprise data integration.
- Experience cultivating partnerships or ecosystems in platforms or marketplaces.
- Insight into AI safety measures, governance, and guardrails for autonomous agent systems.
Success Metrics
- Expansion of active MCP integrations across AI platforms and agent frameworks.
- Increase in usage rates of agentic workflows within partner ecosystems.
- Developer engagement measured by onboarding success, integration activity, and community participation.
- Improved workflow reliability indicated by higher completion rates, reduced error and failure rates, and faster recovery times.
- Decreased incidents of agent-driven errors, hallucinations, or data leaks.
- Comprehensiveness and quality of workflow templates for financial applications.
- Growth in strategic partnerships leveraging MCP capabilities.
- Revenue contributions from new commercial models including partnerships, API consumption, and model-as-a-service offerings.
- Strengthening LSEG's leadership as a premier financial data provider within AI agent ecosystems.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated annual salary range is $78,900 to $131,500, subject to variations by location. This role features eligibility for an Annual Incentive Plan commensurate with the position’s level. LSEG benefits include an Annual Wellness Allowance, paid time off, comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, flexible spending and health savings accounts, prescription plans, 401(k) savings with company match, life and disability insurance, dependent care, adoption assistance, and commuter support.
