Job description
About the Role
We are expanding our team while continuing to deliver on a platform with a strong history, though some current assumptions will evolve. The HR suites are consolidating and entering this space aggressively, so timing is crucial. The challenge is unique and unresolved: no existing software effectively assesses what a learner needs next week, teaches it within their limited time, and evaluates impact without explicit feedback. Our team aims to solve this complex problem.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the learner interface—covering onboarding, content offered next, delivery mechanisms, and insights from user interactions.
- Transform the platform from a mere catalogue to a responsive product that adapts personally. Personalization spans dimensions like country, industry, company size, access channels, department, team, and individual needs—crafting content tailored to precise contexts, e.g., compressing a 15-minute lesson into a brief audio plus quick questions.
- Collaborate closely with educational designers who bring decades of content expertise focused on habit-formation through short activities. Contribute to defining personalized learning paths and determining how lessons reach individuals daily on their devices, including contingency plans if content delivery fails.
- Be accountable for measurement frameworks that drive real results, specifically increasing the weekly active learner metric, setting targets, and steering progress.
- Approach mobile as a primary experience rather than a derivative; decide whether to use native apps or lighter platforms with cost implications.
- Oversee content curation from multiple sources—company-created, client-generated, and dynamic content—and determine optimal delivery for each user segment.
Who You Are
- You have a proven history managing B2B2C products where buyers differ from users, or consumer habit-forming products designed to generate repeated usage rather than fulfill existing demand.
- You possess demonstrated success shipping personalization, routing, or recommendation systems that measurably influence user behavior and understand the challenges involved.
- You can work comfortably with a mature platform carrying legacy while innovating new solutions, managing sequencing strategically.
- You have a decisive mindset, gathering inputs rigorously and making clear trade-offs without hesitance.
- You embrace transparency and iterative development, openly sharing drafts and valuing timely feedback.
- You have a genuine curiosity about learning processes, willing to collaborate closely with experts in educational design.
- You thrive partnering with an embedded engineering manager rather than directly managing engineers.
What This Role Is Not
- You are not seeking a pure greenfield project; this role involves evolving an existing platform rather than starting fresh.
- You understand the strategy is emerging; you are expected to contribute actively to shaping it rather than waiting for it to be finalized.
- Roadmap planning belongs to Product Operations; your focus is on delivering outcomes rather than managing roadmap logistics.
- You prioritize owning key performance metrics over isolated feature sets.
- You recognize existing leadership decisions about platform integration and respect your role in executing rather than re-negotiating them.
Benefits and Perks
- Competitive compensation paired with a role-specific performance bonus that rewards your impact.
- Generous paid leave offering 25 vacation days annually.
- Travel allowance to support your mobility needs.
- Flexible work environment equipped with necessary technology, including a company laptop.
- Access to extensive professional growth resources through GoodHabitz materials and MyAcademy.
- Access to mental health coaching to maintain wellbeing.
- Diverse and inclusive workplace culture with colleagues across Europe bringing varied perspectives.
- Frequent engaging events such as creativity workshops and social gatherings aimed at team bonding.
- Annual paid volunteer day dedicated to contributing to meaningful causes individually or in teams.
- Comprehensive disability and pension coverage securing your long-term future.
