About The Opportunity

The OKX Data Team handles all data-related aspects across OKG, including technology selection, architecture, data ingestion, storage, ETL, visualization, business intelligence, and data science. Comprising data engineers, analysts, and scientists, the team owns the entire data lifecycle. As a Product Manager, you will collaborate with this team to leverage data technologies, enabling evidence-based decisions and enhancing product and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage closely with business units to grasp their daily data requirements, establish core metric frameworks, identify key insights, and suggest data-driven solutions proactively.
  • Design comprehensive data solutions translating business needs into detailed data requirements, overseeing the full lifecycle including event tracking, data modeling, metric definition, dashboard development, deployment, and acceptance.
  • Lead the creation and unification of core business metrics, standardizing calculation methods and dashboard designs to guarantee consistent analysis and business traceability.
  • Promote adoption of data products by partnering with business teams, implementing data tools, and setting up standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain data governance by monitoring event tracking and metrics stability, ensuring data consistency, and driving standardized governance protocols.

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in data product management or related fields; experience within leading internet or technology companies is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of data ecosystems including event tracking systems, A/B testing frameworks, metric systems, and BI pipelines demonstrated through design or management involvement.
  • Capability to quickly analyze complex business logic and convert ambiguous demands into clear, actionable strategies.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills coupled with a strong sense of ownership and project leadership qualities.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin sufficient for effective communication, particularly with stakeholders in Chinese-speaking markets.
