Job Summary

Our Product team is responsible for developing and scaling Toptal's platform and products, collaborating closely with Operations and Engineering to fuel organizational growth. We prioritize data-driven strategies to ensure each product roadmap initiative generates significant business and user impact. This position seeks a customer-focused Senior Product Manager with a strong history of ownership and impactful delivery in dynamic, fast-moving settings. The role involves pioneering AI-driven products that broaden and deepen the company's product and service portfolio.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all facets of an established agile team, including backlog management, prioritization, and cross-functional alignment, concentrating on delivering AI-enhanced product functionalities.
• Translate AI platform features into engaging experiences for customers, talent, and internal stakeholders that yield measurable business outcomes.
• Define scopes for new product features and continuous enhancements.
• Create and prioritize user stories alongside establishing acceptance criteria.
• Maintain strong credibility and collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.
• Leverage data, analytics, and user research to decompose complex problems, guide product strategy, and validate AI solutions.
• Monitor progress, evaluate risks, coordinate deliveries, and communicate contingency plans effectively.
• Conduct ad-hoc research and business analyses to uncover opportunities and assess risks.
• Own problem-solving for challenging product issues aligned with immediate goals and strategic visions.
• Apply systems analysis methods, consulting users to determine hardware, software, or functional system requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful software product management experience.
• Demonstrated capability to drive products end-to-end from conception and initial development to launch, iteration, and scaling within ambiguous environments.
• Experience overseeing development and launch of mobile, desktop, and web applications across entire product lifecycles is advantageous.
• Familiarity with AI product development processes and best practices.
• Track record of designing and launching AI-based features that boosted user engagement, operational efficiency, and business metrics.
• Proficient in building and managing intelligent workflows by integrating systems and automation tools to address large-scale problems.
• Experience with third-party system integrations is a plus.
• Comfortable analyzing data using SQL or spreadsheets and conducting research involving internal and external users.
• Highly skilled in data-driven decision-making, utilizing various tools and methodologies to collate and synthesize information.
• Capable of creatively designing solutions grounded in data and user-centric perspectives.
• Able to produce wireframes and mockups with a focus on simplicity and clarity.
• Detail-oriented with a rigorous quality standard when crafting user stories, reviewing designs, brainstorming technical strategies, and testing new features pre-release.
• Humble, eager to learn, and ready to assist in achieving company objectives.
• Experience working within agile frameworks with distributed teams and adapting to fast-paced, global company cultures.
