Role Overview

As a Product Engineer at Fin, you will tackle real-world customer challenges by creatively applying your technical expertise. You will be embedded in a multidisciplinary product team, collaborating with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts, working on both backend and frontend systems.

We face exciting scaling challenges and are developing a robust platform covering areas such as an elegant messenger composer, rule matching, deliverability, security, application availability, and machine learning enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical planning and architecture to support scaling products used by tens of millions daily.
• Write Ruby code integrating AWS, infrastructure, platform, and SaaS technologies comprising Fin's backend.
• Deliver changes to production from day one and release new features swiftly, contributing to around 100 deployments every weekday.
• Utilize cutting-edge AI-powered development tools to streamline workflows and focus on solving significant problems.
• Mentor colleagues and help grow the engineering team through interviews and guidance.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least 5 years in software engineering, preferably with SaaS product experience, demonstrating meaningful impact on products or teams.
• Strong proficiency in a high-level programming language such as Ruby, Python, or JavaScript; openness to quickly learning new languages or suggesting improvements.
• Proven ability to collaborate with product teams and designers, delivering tangible value to users and customers.
• Experience working with distributed systems.
