Job Role Overview

The Senior Product Designer will take charge of designing sophisticated user experiences within a team, ensuring alignment with overarching product vision, business objectives, and user requirements. This role involves mapping user journeys, guiding design choices, and promoting design excellence throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality and consistent designs by adhering to and enhancing the existing design system and associated patterns.
• Leverage customer insights and collaborate across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to create solutions that deliver tangible business value.
• Innovate by exploring and introducing new tools, processes, and methodologies that boost the design team’s productivity and influence.

Embedded within the Agent Division's Skylight Crew, the Senior Product Designer will collaborate closely with the Lead Product Designer and fellow triad members from product and engineering to achieve impactful results in products designed for agents, sales teams, principals, and administrators under fast-paced, commercially-driven conditions.

Given the product's recent launch, prioritization is crucial—deciding which development gaps to address, which to deprioritize, and identifying areas for meaningful differentiation. The role demands forming evidence-backed viewpoints and confidently advocating for design decisions, including when suggesting not to develop certain features.

This position covers end-to-end design responsibilities, from exploration through final implementation, including evolving the design system. The Senior Product Designer will raise the design craft within the crew, engage collaboratively rather than presenting top-down, and mentor junior designers. The Lead Product Designer sets direction; this role helps shape and realize it.

What You Will Do

• Lead comprehensive design initiatives, crafting intuitive and user-focused experiences aligned with strategic product and business aims.
• Conduct user research, usability evaluations, and discovery work to gather insights and validate design approaches.
• Create detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished visual designs that balance user needs, feasibility, and commercial goals.
• Contribute actively to the design system, enhancing design quality and uniformity across the Domain platform.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional teams to co-develop solutions and influence product direction.
• Drive ongoing design process improvements through critiques, knowledge sharing, and advocating for innovative workflows and tools.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in Product Design, UX/UI, or similar disciplines, coupled with a relevant degree such as Design or Human-Computer Interaction.
• Deep expertise in at least one design specialty, supported by a robust portfolio emphasizing user-centric design practices and successful outcomes.
• High proficiency with Figma for producing wireframes, prototypes, and refined designs.
• Experience conducting and applying user research and usability testing to guide and validate design decisions.
• Comfort working within agile, collaborative teams alongside Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility principles following WCAG guidelines, design systems, and workflows tailored for agent users, with proven capability to enhance scalable design strategies.
