Job description
Job Overview
We are searching for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer specializing in civil projects to join our team located in Abu Dhabi. This role involves supporting the execution of large-scale civil, major building, and high-rise construction projects by taking charge of project planning and schedule management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and management of baseline, recovery, mitigation, and revised project schedules.
- Handle Extension of Time (EOT) claims and conduct delay analysis to support project timelines.
- Plan resources efficiently and monitor progress regularly.
- Prepare Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and cash-flow forecasts.
- Integrate subcontractor schedules and implement strategies for schedule recovery.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- At least 15 years of relevant planning experience, with a minimum of 5 years working on projects in Abu Dhabi.
- Proven experience managing large-scale civil, high-rise, and complex building projects.
- Prior work experience with a major main contractor is essential.
- Strong technical proficiency in Primavera P6, Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, delay analysis, and claim management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership capabilities, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
