Senior OutSystems Developer (Saudi Nationality)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior OutSystems Developer to join our team in Riyadh. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise applications using the OutSystems low-code platform. The successful candidate will have practical expertise in OutSystems, .NET, and C#, along with the capability to integrate applications with external systems and create custom components as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications through the OutSystems platform.
• Translate both business and technical requirements into robust, scalable software solutions.
• Create and maintain custom integrations, APIs, and backend services using .NET and C#.
• Integrate OutSystems applications with external systems, databases, and third-party APIs.
• Develop reusable components while ensuring compliance with OutSystems development best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance effectively.
• Perform code reviews to maintain high-quality, maintainable code standards.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA Engineers, and other development teams.
• Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
• Ensure that applications meet security, performance, scalability, and usability requirements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Keep updated with the latest advancements in OutSystems, .NET, and software development technologies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of software development experience with significant practical experience in OutSystems platform development.
• Proficient in application development using OutSystems.
• Strong programming skills in .NET and C#.
• Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational database management.
• Familiarity with application architecture, debugging practices, and performance optimization techniques.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience using Git or other version control tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

Preferred Certifications

• OutSystems certification is mandatory or highly preferred.
• Microsoft / .NET certifications are advantageous.
• Relevant cloud certifications like Microsoft Azure are additional benefits.
