Position Summary

The Senior Territory Service Representative in Operations is responsible for efficient pickup and delivery within assigned areas, ensuring service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational compliance. The role involves mentoring junior TSRs, managing key routes, resolving exceptions, and upholding Blue Dart's excellence in safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct timely and accurate pickups and deliveries across assigned territories, optimizing route plans and maximizing productivity.
  • Maintain shipment integrity through careful handling and adherence to loading and delivery protocols.
  • Ensure high first-attempt delivery rates and minimize service disruptions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by fostering positive relationships, addressing routine concerns, and appropriately escalating complex issues.
  • Accurately collect and reconcile COD payments, ensuring timely remittance and documentation compliance.
  • Utilize handheld devices and digital applications for shipment scanning and status updates in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Support and guide new TSR team members through induction and ongoing coaching.
  • Adhere to all safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements, reporting incidents as required.
  • Maintain assigned operational vehicles in safe, clean condition with valid documentation.
  • Represent Blue Dart professionally through disciplined conduct, uniform compliance, and positive workplace behavior.
  • Collaborate effectively with inbound/outbound teams, supervisors, and shift in-charges to achieve branch KPIs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum education: 8th standard pass; 10th pass or higher preferred.
  • 3 to 6 years relevant experience in courier, express logistics, last-mile delivery, or field operations.
  • Experience with handheld scanning devices or digital delivery tools is advantageous.
  • Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license with ownership of a two-wheeler if required for role deployment.
  • Physically fit and willing to work across shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Skills & Competencies

  • Expertise in pickup and delivery operations, route planning, and territory management.
  • Customer relationship management and complaint resolution.
  • Proficient in COD handling, reconciliation, and proof of delivery documentation.
  • Familiarity with mobile scanning technologies and basic computer literacy.
  • Strong communication skills in basic English.
