Role Summary

The Operations Executive is responsible for managing daily operations for the eCommerce product at the designated Surface Hub in Nagpur. This role ensures the smooth flow of shipments—handling inbound, outbound, and transit processes—while maintaining visibility, network coordination, and service standards within the surface logistics network.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily eCommerce hub operations including timely receipt, sorting, consolidation, and dispatch of shipments.
• Monitor and manage shipment flows to meet network timing targets.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, quality standards, and SOPs.
• Coordinate with linehaul, network operations, service centers, last mile, and customer service teams for seamless execution.
• Manage surface network shipment movement by coordinating scheduled linehaul and feeder operations, ensuring on-time loading and dispatch.
• Maintain shipment visibility through timely scanning and system updates.
• Handle shipment processing accuracy and proactively resolve exceptions such as delays, misroutes, and discrepancies.
• Communicate network disruptions and recovery plans promptly to stakeholders.
• Plan manpower and operational resources according to shipment volumes and forecasts.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, operational compliance, and audit requirements.
• Prepare operational reports, analyze performance metrics, and recommend improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational productivity and customer experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• Certification or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or operations management is advantageous.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in courier, express logistics, transportation, eCommerce logistics, or hub operations.
• Experience managing high-volume hub or mid-mile logistics operations, with exposure to surface linehaul and shipment tracking.
• Proficient with logistics management software, operational dashboards, and Microsoft Office.
