Senior .NET Core Developer / Technical Lead - Hybrid Gurugram

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer or Technical Lead with strong expertise in .NET Core, microservices architecture, and AWS cloud technologies. Based in Gurugram, this hybrid role involves 4 days working from office and 1 day remote weekly, with shift hours from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Immediate to 15-day notice period candidates are preferred. Transportation drop-off is provided to the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and hands-on development of scalable distributed microservices using .NET Core.
• Make critical architectural decisions prioritizing scalability, security, performance, and cost-efficiency on AWS.
• Promote and integrate use of Agentic AI and AI-assisted engineering methods across teams.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to multiple squads or modules.
• Oversee data engineering and integration processes utilizing AWS services such as Glue, EMR, DMS, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues affecting multiple systems.
• Mentor and assess technical leads and senior engineers to foster continuous technical growth.
• Collaborate closely with clients in Wealth Management and Financial Services sectors to convert business needs into technical solutions.
• Drive adherence to best practices in code quality, continuous integration/delivery, observability, and security by design.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience with the latest versions of .NET Core.
• Solid background in designing and delivering end-to-end microservices architectures.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server including advanced query writing, performance tuning, and schema design.
• Production-level experience using Entity Framework and EF Core.
• Practical knowledge of at least two AWS services from Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, Glue, EMR, DMS, RDS, DynamoDB, or CloudFront.
• Good understanding or keen interest in Agentic AI or AI-driven engineering tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to address complex and ambiguous technical challenges independently.

Preferred Extras

• Experience in Wealth Management, Asset Management, Banking, or Financial Services domains.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
