Role Overview

As a Senior Navigation Engineer, you will design navigation solutions that operate effectively even in GPS-denied environments. Your work will focus on robust sensor fusion, anti-jamming techniques, and alternative navigation methods—forming a crucial component of modern precision weaponry.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and enhance robust navigation systems suited for GNSS-disrupted environments.
• Develop and refine sensor fusion algorithms.
• Perform analysis, simulation, and validation of navigation methodologies.
• Conduct field tests and analyze resulting data.
• Collaborate closely with software, systems, and testing teams.
• Assess and incorporate new sensors and navigation techniques into the overall system.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with IMU, GNSS, and anti-jamming technologies.
• Understanding of electronic warfare principles.
• Strong background in control theory, estimation methods, or sensor fusion.
• Hands-on experience with practical testing and data analysis.
• Advantageous: knowledge of Image-Based Navigation or Terrain Referenced Navigation.
• Beneficial: familiarity with AI-driven positioning techniques.
• Fluency in German (minimum C1 level) and good command of English.
• Citizenship from an EU or NATO member country (excluding USA) and willingness to undergo security clearance according to German Security Clearance Act (SÜG).
