Team Overview
The Mobile Team develops fully native iOS and Android applications using cutting-edge technologies such as SwiftUI, Combine, Async/Await on iOS, and AndroidX, Coroutines, Hilt, and Jetpack libraries on Android. The apps offer seamless management of global B2B payments, expense approvals, virtual and physical card controls, including Apple Pay and Google Pay integrations.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of critical features in the iOS or Android native apps to ensure reliability, performance, and usability.
- Work collaboratively with engineering peers to establish architecture, share best coding practices, and uphold quality standards across platforms.
- Help shape the core architecture and strategic evolution of the mobile apps, which were developed in the past three years.
- Contribute beyond coding by actively participating in product decisions, team workflows, and the overall global engineering strategy.
- Exercise hands-on technical leadership with an emphasis on writing clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.
Required Qualifications
- At least six years of professional experience creating native mobile applications on iOS or Android leveraging modern frameworks and development methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated success in launching one or more production apps available on the App Store or Google Play.
- Strong commitment to code quality with writing testable code and maintaining high test coverage.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Bitrise.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with advanced Android/iOS development libraries and tools including AndroidX, Jetpack, SwiftUI, Combine, Hilt, or Coroutines.
