Role Overview
The senior merchandiser will be an essential member of the sales team tasked with maximizing PepsiCo’s on-shelf visibility across all assigned retail outlets. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with planograms on both on-shelf and off-shelf displays, conducting in-store product sampling and promotional activities as needed, and promptly reporting any non-conformities or opportunities to the pre-seller to enhance sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit designated On-Traded (OT) outlets according to the daily journey plan assigned by your supervisor.
- Merchandize PepsiCo products in OT stores across all access points including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
- Place point-of-sale (POS) materials next to PepsiCo displays where applicable.
- Adhere strictly to approved planograms for all product placements and displays.
- Use the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method for product rotation and remove any substandard stock.
- Ensure shelves are continuously stocked with fresh PepsiCo products to maintain optimal availability.
- Observe and report on competitor activities and market trends.
- Immediately communicate any deviations from agreed terms with assigned outlets.
- Submit daily activity reports from previous days to your supervisor.
- Support sampling and promotional campaigns as required.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct in alignment with company standards.
Performance Metrics
- Standard of execution in merchandising tasks.
- Enforcement of Lost Time Accident (LTA) protocols.
- Adherence to the journey plan schedule.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a valid driving license.
- A strong orientation towards delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
