Overview

Join PepsiCo as a Merchandiser responsible for managing product presentation across high-volume retail locations such as grocery stores. The role includes replenishing shelves, rotating stock to maintain freshness, setting promotional displays, and ensuring that both shelves and storage areas are organized and well-stocked. Regular interaction with store personnel is part of the position.

Key Duties

• Stock and merchandise products on store shelves, coolers, and displays within assigned store accounts.
• Rotate merchandise effectively in both display and backroom areas to maintain stock freshness.
• Transport products between storage and sales floor using equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and U Boats.
• Install and display promotional items including banners and signs inside stores.
• Maintain a clean and orderly backroom inventory area.
• Report any store-related issues to store managers and PepsiCo supervisors.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with store customers and staff.
• Adhere to company-operating procedures including scheduled routes and scan-in/scan-out protocols.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through communication, attentiveness, and rapport building.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while efficiently managing time.
• Utilize handheld devices to process and input product orders.
• Exhibit regular and dependable attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully pass a physical capabilities test if required for the role.
• Possession of a reliable car or personal transportation to travel between multiple store locations during assigned shifts is mandatory.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and proof of current vehicle insurance are required.

Preferred Experience

• Background working in retail or grocery environments, with familiarity of store operations, backroom management, and shelf stocking.
• Experience using equipment like u-boats, hand trucks, dollies, or pallet jacks to safely move inventory.
• Proficiency in merchandising tasks including filling displays, organizing inventory, cleaning shelves, rotating products, and managing out-of-stock or expired items.
• Capabilities in backroom inventory organization such as pallet stacking and orderly product storage.
• Customer service experience involving complaint resolution, responding to requests, and meeting client needs.

• Positions requiring personal vehicle use for assigned routes will include mileage reimbursement.
