About the Role
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Senior Sales Manager focused on driving sales strategy and commercial growth within the Specialty Diagnostics Group in Saudi Arabia. You will lead and develop sales teams, oversee strategy execution, and build robust customer relationships to expand market share and revenue. Working collaboratively, leverage cutting-edge technologies to support breakthrough discoveries and enhance global health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Saudi Arabia's commercial agenda aligned with local industry developments and Vision 2030 initiatives.
- Create a focused three-year commercial plan by translating market insights into actionable strategies.
- Take ownership of revenue, margin, market share, pipeline quality, pricing, and forecasting accuracy to ensure profitable growth.
- Drive growth in priority product portfolios while balancing short-term targets with long-term market expansion.
- Identify and develop emerging business opportunities across all product lines.
- Establish strong relationships with clinicians, hospitals, laboratories, government entities, and other stakeholders to foster adoption and build scalable commercial models.
- Manage strategic, complex accounts personally, cultivating long-term executive level relationships and building comprehensive account plans.
- Engage with government ministries, national healthcare programs, regulators, and corresponding entities to shape market access and regulatory strategies.
- Implement an optimal route-to-market model involving direct and indirect channels, with clear distributor and partner performance expectations.
- Lead and coach the Saudi commercial team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance.
- Ensure compliance and operational excellence across all activities.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven commercial leadership experience within Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region, with responsibility for significant revenue targets, P&L, or country operations.
- Background in diagnostics, life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
- Expertise in government relations, strategic account management, tender processes, and channel management.
- Strong analytical, financial, and commercial judgement skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are highly preferred.
Work Environment and Schedule
The work schedule follows a standard Monday to Friday routine, primarily office-based within Saudi Arabia.
