About the Role
NexGen Plastic Industries LLC, located in Umm Al Quwain, UAE, is seeking a seasoned Senior Machine Operator for its plastic manufacturing plant. This role involves overseeing and operating high-capacity plastic injection molding machines, ensuring efficient production quality and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Operates large-scale injection molding machines with tonnage ranging from 2500 to 3000 tons.
- Conducts machine setup, parameter adjustments, and troubleshooting to optimize production.
- Performs mold changeovers and initiates machine start-ups efficiently.
- Maintains continuous monitoring to uphold product quality standards during production.
- Coordinates production activities, aligning with daily output targets and planning.
- Identifies and rectifies defects promptly to ensure flawless output.
- Implements preventive maintenance measures and adheres to safety regulations.
- Leads junior machine operators, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Willingness to work in shift-based schedules as required by manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum five years of practical experience in plastic manufacturing or injection molding environment.
- Proven expertise with large injection molding machines between 2500-3000 tons capacity.
- Strong technical knowledge of machine setup, parameter setting, mold changeover, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to monitor and ensure production quality and productivity goals are met.
- Experience in preventive maintenance and enforcing safety standards within manufacturing processes.
- Leadership experience in mentoring or supervising junior operators.
- Preference given to candidates currently based in UAE and those with UAE or GCC experience in plastic manufacturing.

- This is a full-time, onsite position based in Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates.
- Shift work is required, demanding flexibility and commitment.
