Senior Logistics Specialist

Job Purpose

This role supports daily outbound logistics operations by effective coordination with warehouses, production units, freight forwarders, third-party logistics providers, ocean carriers, and internal departments. It aims to guarantee efficient handling of shipments, seamless documentation management, tight control of inventory transfers, and full compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute day-to-day outbound logistics processes to maintain smooth shipment progression.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Warehouses, 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to achieve delivery targets.
• Monitor shipments to ensure prompt dispatch and timely delivery to customers.
• Prepare, verify, and oversee logistics documentation such as Bills of Lading, packing lists, certificates, and other shipping paperwork.
• Control and supervise inventory movements between both internal and external storage facilities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, established standard operating procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Support identification and resolution of logistics challenges, delays, or operational obstacles.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance logistics and supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of pertinent experience in supply chain and logistics functions.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain and logistics workflows.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capability to perform effectively in a high-speed operational environment.
