Role Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and sustain backend services that are scalable, highly available, and deliver optimal performance using Java.
• Assume responsibility for backend architecture, continuously refining scalability, reliability, and system efficiency.
• Engage actively in the full software lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support in production environments.
• Create secure, robust, and maintainable distributed systems capable of handling high-concurrency business operations.
• Design and refine APIs, database schemas, and system integrations to maintain system stability and operational efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to produce top-quality software solutions.
• Perform code reviews, establish technical guidelines, and promote best engineering practices throughout the team.
• Monitor live production environments, resolve incidents, and proactively detect system performance issues and risks.
• Lead or take part in enhancing AI engineering tools, capabilities, and infrastructure continuously.
• Remain updated with new technological trends and disseminate relevant knowledge within the team.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Over five years of experience in backend development with a strong command of Java programming.
• A thorough grasp of object-oriented principles, software design patterns, clean coding techniques, and established software engineering procedures.
• Hands-on expertise with the Spring framework, including Spring Boot and Spring MVC, along with persistence frameworks such as MyBatis or MyBatis-Plus.
• Proven experience in designing scalable, reliable, fault-tolerant, and highly available distributed systems.
• Proficiency with SQL databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL and caching tools such as Redis.
• Knowledge of messaging systems including Kafka, RabbitMQ, or RocketMQ.
• Experience working with microservices architectures, as well as containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development and backend security standards.
• Working familiarity with Git version control, CI/CD workflows, and automated testing methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging capabilities.
• Basic proficiency in English for reading and writing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Web3 technologies, digital asset custody platforms, cryptocurrency exchange systems, or blockchain infrastructure.
• Expertise in creating high-throughput, low-latency backend architectures.
• Practical experience applying AI frameworks to boost engineering efficiency or to build AI-based systems or components.
• Additional skills in full-stack development are advantageous.
