Senior Java Developer

Role Overview

This opportunity is for an experienced Senior Java Developer with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Azure, and Kafka. The role demands producing robust, high-quality code alongside collaborative team development within agile frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage closely with technical and product managers to define project scopes and timelines.
• Design and deploy architectural strategies aligned with business needs.
• Lead and encourage adherence to software engineering best practices among team members.

Required Skills and Experience

• 6 to 8 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong foundation in Core Java and object-oriented design principles.
• Extensive experience with J2EE, especially Spring framework, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot for building RESTful Webservices and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with relational database management systems, specifically MySQL.
• Comfortable documenting processes and APIs using tools like POSTMAN and Swagger.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Basic understanding of caching mechanisms such as Redis and search/index platforms like Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, or Agile practices.
