Role Overview

We are seeking an expert Java Backend Engineer to join our active team, taking comprehensive accountability for designing and developing backend systems that emphasize high efficiency, scalability, and reliability. The position involves collaborating across functions, mentoring less-experienced engineers, and spearheading advancements in backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement robust Java-based backend solutions enabling new functionalities and products.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle independently, encompassing requirement analysis through to deployment in production.
• Enhance system performance and scalability through code evaluations, database optimizations, and microservices fine-tuning under demanding traffic.
• Define and uphold coding standards, testing protocols, and documentation to ensure superior code quality within the team.
• Promote the sharing of best practices related to Java development and encourage continuous team improvements.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and DevOps specialists to ensure timely, high-quality release cycles.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot frameworks, RESTful APIs, and microservices design.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including skills in optimizing database performance.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows and container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record of leading projects autonomously from concept stage to deployment.
• Strong analytical abilities and competence in diagnosing complex problems and stabilizing production systems.
