About the Role
We are looking to hire a Java Backend Developer with 2 to 5 years of practical experience to design and implement RESTful backend services and stateless microservices. The position is based in Indore and involves working in an agile, international team using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies to build highly scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain reliable backend services utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Design and manage RESTful APIs and effectively work with MySQL databases alongside XML/JSON data serialization.
- Apply automated testing approaches, specifically using JUnit and test-driven development methodologies.
- Use CI/CD workflows along with version control tools such as Git and GitHub for continuous integration and deployment.
- Employ containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, while working within Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Independently manage and prioritize development tasks to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- 2 to 4 years hands-on experience in Java backend development, including some exposure to Kotlin.
- Strong command of the Spring and Spring Boot frameworks for building RESTful services.
- Understanding of microservice system design, inter-service communication, and MySQL database management.
- Proficient with automated testing practices using JUnit and TDD principles.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
- Basic expertise in working with Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestration, and introductory experience with Azure cloud services.
- Ability to independently prioritize tasks and communicate effectively in English at B2 level or above.
Additional Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with monitoring solutions like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks such as Terraform.
