About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Inventory Support professional based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi to assist with daily inventory functions, ensure ERP system accuracy, conduct stock reconciliations, generate reports, and enforce inventory controls in a manufacturing environment. This position requires frequent travel between warehouse and production facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily inventory operations for raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Ensure precise recording of stock receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and adjustments in the ERP system.
- Monitor inventory transactions to resolve pending, incomplete, duplicate, or inaccurate entries.
- Collaborate with Warehouse, Production, Procurement, Finance, and Logistics departments to facilitate timely and accurate material movement.
- Conduct regular reconciliation between physical inventory and ERP data.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, determine root causes, and compile variance reports including documentation.
- Support monthly inventory closing and reconciliation processes.
- Coordinate and assist with scheduled physical inventory and cycle counts.
- Prepare count sheets, document count variances, and ensure timely completion of reconciliations.
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports, dashboards, and updates for management.
- Track inventory accuracy, stock movements, adjustments, pending transactions, cycle counts, and slow or stagnant stock.
- Maintain accurate records of all goods transactions and ensure all inventory adjustments are properly authorized and documented.
- Support audit activities by supplying inventory records and relevant documentation.
- Ensure ERP master-data integrity, including item codes, descriptions, units, and warehouse locations.
- Identify inventory process inefficiencies and assist in enhancing controls, reporting, automation, SOPs, and work instructions with relevant teams.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Have between 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in inventory, warehouse, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience within the manufacturing sector is essential, with preference given to candidates from chemical manufacturing or similar process-manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in managing inventory transactions, stock reconciliations, controls, and documentation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or comparable software.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data analysis.
- Experience leading physical stock counts and cycle count procedures.
- Preferably skilled in managing inventory across multiple production facilities.
- Hold a valid UAE driving license.
- Willing and able to travel frequently between warehouse and production sites as operational needs demand.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, effective communication, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
