Senior Integration Engineer

Role Overview

We are in search of an accomplished Senior Integration Engineer with over 15 years of extensive experience in enterprise system integrations, middleware technologies, and comprehensive data integration management. This role centers on architecting, building, and maintaining complex integration solutions connecting multiple enterprise systems with the Enterprise Architecture platform, Bizzdesign.

Key Responsibilities

• Expertly perform data mapping between various IT systems including CMDB, ERP, Telecommunication systems, APM, and the Enterprise Architecture platform.
• Develop and sustain integration pipelines using API-based solutions and direct database interactions via specialized service accounts.
• Utilize middleware technologies such as Apache NiFi, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), and SAP Enterprise Integration Component (EIC) to implement integration projects.
• Employ in-depth scripting and coding abilities, especially in Python, to support integration workflows.
• Conduct thorough log analysis and root cause investigation to promptly and efficiently troubleshoot integration problems.
• Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture teams and other internal stakeholders, leveraging excellent communication skills.
• Adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced working environment managing multiple prioritized tasks concurrently.

Professional Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or allied disciplines. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Have a minimum of 15 years' experience in enterprise application integration and middleware technology domains.
• Demonstrable experience integrating enterprise IT systems with Enterprise Architecture platforms, ideally Bizzdesign.
• Comprehensive experience in large-scale enterprise ecosystems.
• Technical prowess in RESTful APIs, Web Services, JSON, XML, SQL, and hands-on database integration.
• Advanced scripting knowledge, particularly in Python, to develop integration automations.
• Strong familiarity with data transformation methods and ETL procedures.
• Desirable knowledge of cloud integration practices.
• Exemplary analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.
• Experienced in collaborating across diverse technical and business teams.
• Effective organizational skills to juggle competing priorities efficiently.
• Certification preferences include TOGAF, Bizzdesign, IBM Integration Bus, Apache NiFi, cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, and ITIL Foundation.
