Digital Solution Engineer

Role Overview

The Digital Solution Engineer will be responsible for the complete lifecycle management of JODAYN solutions deployed in customer environments. This includes installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, problem resolution, and upgrades with a focus on ensuring the solutions are secure, reliable, efficient, and aligned with client business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage JODAYN software within client infrastructure, primarily handling Linux servers such as Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Conduct application updates, patching, rollbacks, and version control to maintain system integrity.
• Optimize performance, maintain high availability, and ensure operational stability of software solutions.
• Apply security best practices to harden environments and conduct routine preventive maintenance activities to improve system dependability.
• Administer backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Analyze and resolve system or application-related faults, performing thorough root cause analysis and escalating complex cases when necessary.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to facilitate deployments, monitoring, diagnostics, and operational efficiencies.
• Support application integrations through automation and coordinate closely with internal teams and client IT staff.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including installation guides, troubleshooting protocols, and operational procedures.
• Engage in customer interactions such as technical workshops and project discussions to align deployments to client infrastructure and operational demands.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in deployment, support, and operational workflows.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in system administration, application support, software deployment, or digital solution engineering.
• Proven expertise in supporting enterprise applications within Linux-based systems.
• Experience with client-facing technical engagements and support activities.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Familiarity with application integration techniques and APIs.
• Understanding of databases and SQL, particularly PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools for system health and diagnostics.
• ITIL certification is an advantage.
