Role Overview
The role involves leading the comprehensive HR initiatives for a fast-growing Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru. It acts as a strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) influencing organizational design and workforce planning across various departments including Engineering, Product, R&D, Technology, and corporate units primarily in India and North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the chief HR Business Partner for Engineering, Product, R&D, Technology, and corporate sectors across India and North America.
- Collaborate with senior management on organizational design, workforce planning, succession strategy, and talent assessments.
- Spearhead HR strategy and execution for the Bengaluru GCC.
- Provide counsel on performance management, employee relations, engagement strategies, leadership development, and enhancing organizational effectiveness.
- Utilize HR analytics to drive informed, data-backed decisions and actionable workforce insights.
- Scale HR processes, policies, and programs to support ongoing organizational growth.
- Work closely with hiring managers to implement hiring plans covering technical, business, and leadership roles to improve recruitment effectiveness and candidate experience.
- Maintain and refine the Performance Management System, overseeing goal setting, appraisal cycles, and talent calibration.
- Support leaders in identifying and nurturing high-potential employees and future leaders.
- Develop and deploy employee engagement and culture initiatives tailored for hybrid and distributed teams.
- Champion inclusion, communication, recognition, and leadership development programs at the organizational level.
- Forge strong partnerships with Engineering and Product leadership to facilitate talent attraction, retention, and team productivity.
Candidate Profile
- Over 10 years of advanced experience in Human Resources, specializing in HR Business Partner roles.
- Proven background in supporting technology-focused units such as Engineering, Product, Technology, or R&D within product-led or SaaS companies.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with executive leaders including CTOs and Product Heads.
- Expertise in performance management, organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development.
- Effective influencer and coach with skills to advise senior management on people-related matters.
- Experience working with distributed teams spanning India and North America.
- Exposure to high-growth or startup environments in technology sectors.
- In-depth understanding of employee engagement, company culture development, and leadership enhancement initiatives.
- Competence in partnering for talent acquisition and managing diversified hiring plans.
- Analytical approach leveraging workforce data to support business decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to excel in a fast-evolving, ambiguous, and international collaborative context.
