Role Overview
We seek a seasoned Senior HR Business Partner to deliver strategic HR expertise in partnership with senior leaders. Reporting to the Head of HR, this role will align talent initiatives with business objectives, champion change management, enhance employee engagement, and improve organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to craft and enact HR strategies that advance company goals.
- Advise on workforce planning, talent pipelines, succession strategies, and organizational development.
- Lead change management efforts with sensitivity and effectiveness.
- Provide trusted counsel on complex employee relations, performance, and engagement challenges.
- Drive business performance enhancements via targeted HR solutions.
- Manage intricate employee relations matters including investigations and disciplinary procedures.
- Coach managers in performance management, development planning, and career progression.
- Ensure adherence to employment law, internal policies, and company values through all HR interventions.
- Foster a culture emphasizing fairness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Learning and Development to address skill gaps through focused training initiatives.
- Lead engagement and inclusion programs promoting wellbeing and retention.
- Support leadership growth through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
- Oversee talent reviews and workforce planning.
- Utilize HR data and analytics to guide decision-making and evaluate impact.
- Track key HR metrics like turnover, engagement, and performance to spot trends and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to developing and refining HR policies, practices, and systems for optimized efficiency.
- Stay informed on market trends, regulatory updates, and HR best practices to provide relevant guidance.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders, managers, employees, and cross-functional HR teams.
- Collaborate closely with Recruitment, HR Operations, and Reward departments for integrated HR delivery.
- Exemplify Sisk’s values and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Participate actively in HR projects and organizational transformation activities.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in HR business partnering or advisory roles within complex, multi-site organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and gain trust from senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices.
- Background in organizational development, change management, and talent management strategies.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in using HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Familiarity with the construction, engineering, or project-driven industries is advantageous.
- Degree qualification in human resources, business, or related fields is essential.
- CIPD certification or equivalent professional accreditation is preferred.
- Commitment to continuous professional development is required.
