Join as a Senior Global Payroll Director to lead payroll functions internationally across EMEA, North America, Canada, LATAM, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end domestic and global payroll processing for US and other subsidiaries, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.
- Provide strategic guidance to refine payroll processes for scalability in multiple international locations.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a skilled payroll team fostering a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
- Ensure team members serve as payroll subject matter experts and primary contacts for related inquiries.
- Work closely with People & Culture leaders, Accounting, Finance, and Audit teams to ensure payroll supports overall organizational objectives.
- Coordinate with global collaborators across various time zones to maintain effective communication and meet business goals.
- Formulate and execute plans to expand and enhance global payroll operations.
- Design and implement internal controls and workflows to maintain compliance with payroll, tax, and benefits laws.
- Keep abreast of international, federal, state, and local payroll regulations for compliance assurance.
- Lead efforts to deploy global payroll systems aligned with data security standards.
- Address and resolve complex payroll queries promptly, maintaining excellent service quality.
Qualifications and Experience
- More than 10 years of experience managing global payroll operations successfully.
- Comprehensive knowledge of international, federal, state, and local payroll legislation.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a history of developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally and communicating effectively at all levels.
- Experience in global payroll system design and implementation.
