Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will lead the creation and maintenance of robust backend and frontend systems. This includes API development with a focus on GraphQL, effective integration of REST APIs, and collaboration with UX/UI teams to deliver superior user experiences. Utilizing containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to support scalable infrastructure is also part of the role.
Frontend tasks involve applying skills in CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript to build dynamic interfaces using Vue or Nuxt, including responsive design frameworks like Tailwind. Integration with backend APIs is critical for fluid front-end communication.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of extensive full-stack software engineering experience crafting scalable and reliable applications.
- Deep expertise in API design and backend integration, particularly REST and GraphQL, with Python as the main programming language; knowledge of Go is beneficial.
- Strong command of modern frontend technologies, including JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, Vue/Nuxt frameworks, responsive UI frameworks, and animation techniques.
- Practical understanding of distributed systems geared for high traffic and efficient backend/frontend operations. Familiarity with cloud deployment, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude with meticulous attention to detail, capable of holistic full-stack solutions, prioritizing delivery without compromising maintainability.
- Effective communication skills in English and ease collaborating across product, design, QA, and engineering teams.

Work Arrangement & Location
This position is based in Hamburg, Germany, offering a flexible hybrid work model: on-site Tuesday to Thursday and remote work Mondays and Fridays.
