Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned frontend professional who will take ownership, influence technical decisions, and drive sustainable enhancements of our React-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the advancement and scalability of our frontend architecture based on React.
- Design and implement complex features emphasizing user experience, performance, and maintainability.
- Integrate REST APIs and collaborate closely with Laravel backend developers on interface design.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold high coding standards within the team.
- Contribute to and evaluate architectural decisions, including state management, component structure, and testing strategies.
- Mitigate technical debt actively and consistently enhance existing systems.
- Work in close cooperation with product managers and backend teams to evolve our platform collaboratively.
- Assume technical responsibilities beyond personal code contributions by sharing knowledge and supporting teammates.
Required Qualifications
- Completed education or degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification through practical experience.
- Minimum five years of professional experience focused on frontend development with React.
- Strong expertise in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and deep understanding of React, including hooks and component lifecycle.
- Proficient use of TypeScript in production environments.
- Experience developing and maintaining sophisticated, long-term web applications beyond simple marketing or landing pages.
- Demonstrated ability to design and evolve frontend architectures, such as state management and component organization.
- Familiarity with contemporary styling methodologies, preferably using utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
- Willingness to take ownership of technical decisions and think beyond individual code contributions.
- Organized, quality-conscious approach to work paired with strong self-motivation and team collaboration skills.
Technical Skills and Competencies
- Strong command of asynchronous data handling and integration of RESTful APIs (using tools like Fetch or Axios).
- Experience with frontend automated testing, including unit and integration tests (for example with Vitest or similar tools).
- Advanced knowledge of modern CSS styling methods, especially utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
- Familiar with modern build tools and development environments such as Vite and proficient in Git version control.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes and their importance in software deployment.
- Heightened focus on performance optimization (rendering efficiency, load times) and accessibility (including compliance with accessibility standards).
