Job description

About the Role

At Pushpay, we are focusing on elevating our product suite over the coming 12 to 18 months by delivering significant, user-centered enhancements across our platform. We seek experienced Senior Full Stack Engineers who are adept at bridging dependable backend services with user-friendly frontend interfaces. This role involves collaborating closely with various cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, QA, Site Reliability Engineers, UX Designers, and Delivery Leads, to develop comprehensive features used by millions worldwide.

You will be tasked with owning entire feature verticals—designing robust .NET backend architectures as well as creating responsive, polished client applications. Our culture promotes open technical discussions, ongoing learning, blameless postmortems, and clear accountability for the solutions you develop.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and deliver scalable full-stack features within our primary SaaS offerings.
  • Write clean, modular backend code primarily in .NET and C# while implementing dynamic UI components using contemporary frontend frameworks.
  • Collaborate with UX designers and product teams to ensure seamless integration between technical feasibility and optimal UI design.
  • Create efficient RESTful APIs and guarantee smooth synchronization between backend systems and client applications.
  • Provide mentorship to team members, engage in peer code reviews, and promote best practices across both frontend and backend development.

Requirements

  • Minimum six years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on deploying end-to-end production web applications.
  • Strong backend expertise in .NET and C#, including web service design, microservices architecture, and database management.
  • Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as React, TypeScript, Vue, or Angular, along with solid know-how of standard CSS and HTML best practices.
  • Experience in system architecture, including designing client-server contracts, optimizing API performance, and developing scalable codebases.
  • Familiarity with delivery methodologies and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile project management.
  • A pragmatic and ownership-driven approach to problem-solving, eagerness to promote team growth, and curiosity for emerging technologies.
