Role Summary
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will spearhead the integration of artificial intelligence in the product development lifecycle. This role involves accelerating software delivery through advanced AI-enabled development tools, contributing to scalable Cloud SaaS applications that support vital public infrastructure management, and working closely with product teams to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Employ cutting-edge AI coding assistants to streamline the process from concept to code submission, including comprehensive documentation and unit testing.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to exploit AI tools for rapid prototyping and detailed requirements gathering.
- Build, test, and maintain resilient full-stack software solutions within a high-throughput Cloud SaaS environment.
- Integrate AI-powered agents into CI/CD pipelines to automate repetitive engineering workflows.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- At least five years of professional experience in software engineering.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Expertise in .NET Core with C# and front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
- Proven experience utilizing AI-powered coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code to enhance productivity.
- A strong product-oriented mindset prioritizing user value and leveraging automated validation processes.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience in AI-native product development lifecycle methodologies.
- Intermediate knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform suitable for global-scale applications.
- Prior experience developing software solutions for the AECO industry.
Additional Details
- Work Location: Remote with growth plans for local presence in Cork, Ireland.
- Travel Requirements: Approximately 10% travel.
