Role Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will lead the design, architecture, development, and deployment of Bolt’s expanding backend and frontend systems, primarily using Node.js and TypeScript.

Main Responsibilities

• Architect and develop Bolt’s backend and frontend applications.
• Write code mainly in TypeScript, welcoming experience with Node.js, React, or React-Native, though not mandatory.
• Maintain high attention to detail by proactively identifying and fixing bugs and technical issues.
• Contribute ideas towards the product roadmap and development strategy.
• Support your colleagues through code reviews and participate actively in architectural discussions.

Candidate Profile

• Experience programming in JavaScript along with Node.js, C++, Java, or other object-oriented languages.
• Familiarity with major frontend frameworks and experience designing and developing APIs.
• Holds a university degree in a technical discipline such as computer science or mathematics.
• Minimum of four years’ professional software development experience.
• Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures paired with experience in any SQL database (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
