Senior Frontend Engineer (Marketplace)

About the Role

Join an innovative team as a Senior Frontend Engineer focused on enhancing both user interface and user experiences within dynamic web applications. You will leverage your deep technical expertise primarily with React.js and related front-end technologies to create responsive and efficient products used widely by our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop robust and scalable web user interfaces.
• Create comprehensive unit tests to ensure software reliability.
• Perform code reviews to maintain high quality standards.
• Design and implement new features and products using modern frontend frameworks and libraries.
• Work closely with designers and product managers to craft intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Maintain and enhance existing codebases with a focus on modularity and reusability.
• Address front-end challenges involving performance optimization and maintainability.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• At least four years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Expertise in JavaScript, including deep understanding of DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• In-depth knowledge of React.js core concepts and ecosystem.
• Proficiency in UI component libraries such as Material-UI or Ant Design.
• Experience using state management tools like Redux toolkit or Recoil.
• Familiarity with React Query for efficient data fetching and cache handling.
• Competence with modern frontend build and deployment toolchains.
• Strong ability to optimize frontend performance by reducing load times and resource consumption.
• Skilled in frontend testing frameworks including Jest and React Testing Library.
• Excellent communication skills enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
